The Burunge Visitor Centre  staff  provide  services to visitors and the community at large. These include, but are not limited to:

  1. Information about walking, sightseeing & hiking
  2. View and participate in cultural activities, such as traditional
    ceremonies, song, dance, dress, grinding flour, basket making and
    preserving foods
  3. Interpreting nature and culture of the area
  4. Purchase handicrafts, art, books and othe cultural  souvenirs.
  5. Books and souvenir stores
  6. Restaurant which offers refreshments and picnic lunches
  7.  Provision store
  8. Information about churches, schools and communities in the Burunge WMA
  9. Sign up for a Ernest Hemingway literary tour and see what inspired
    him to write about this area
  10. Learn how native plants are used for food and medicine* Interact
    with local villagers, visit their homes (bomas and tembes) 
  11. Information about other attractions, amenities by way of brochures and pamphlets
